What We Do
Code Enforcement, Animal Control & Rental Properties
The Code Enforcement Officer enforces the Borough’s property maintenance, zoning and nuisance ordinances, reviews permit applications and serves as the borough’s Animal Control and Landlord-Tenant Officer.
Report a property concern
Concerns about high grass, junk vehicles, unsafe structures, trash or other property maintenance issues may be reported by phone or through our contact form. Please include the property address and a description of the problem.
Permits
A permit may be required for construction, renovation, demolition, fences, sheds, signs and similar projects. Contact the Code Enforcement Officer before starting work.
Landlords & rental properties
Landlords are responsible for maintaining rental units in compliance with borough ordinances. Contact the Landlord-Tenant Officer with questions about registration or inspections.
